Terms of Use
Effective August 27, 2026
Acceptance and eligibility
By using PocketPlanner you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to accept them. PocketPlanner is not directed to children under 13.
Using PocketPlanner
You may use PocketPlanner for lawful personal or household planning. You are responsible for your account, device access, content, backups or exports you need, and permission to upload or share information. Do not misuse the service, probe access controls, automate abusive traffic, infringe rights, or upload unlawful content.
AI scanning
AI results may be incomplete or wrong. Scanning requires a signed-in account, has usage limits, and may be unavailable. Do not upload content you are not authorized to process. Review every extracted result before relying on or saving it.
Reminders, location, and calendars
Operating-system permissions, battery settings, network access, time zones, calendar settings, and device behavior can delay or prevent alerts. Do not rely on PocketPlanner as the only reminder for emergencies, medication, safety, financial deadlines, travel, or other high-impact obligations.
Your content and shared lists
You keep ownership of your content and grant PocketPlanner permission to process it only as needed to operate, secure, and improve features you choose. People with a valid shared-list invitation may join and edit that list; share invitations only with people you trust. Removing an account does not erase copies already received by another person.
Accounts, availability, and pricing
The current service is free. Features, capacity, limits, and future pricing may change with reasonable notice. We may suspend abusive or dangerous activity, maintain the service, or discontinue features. You may delete your account at any time.
Third-party services
Firebase, OpenAI, Google, Vercel, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, device platforms, and app stores may apply their own terms and availability. PocketPlanner is not responsible for third-party services outside its control.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. PocketPlanner does not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free extraction, or guaranteed delivery of alerts. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to direct damages and excludes indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, and lost-profit damages. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date and, where required, additional notice. Questions may be submitted through the secure support form.
